Many thermostats have a summer setting. This enables you to turn off the central heating, while the boiler still produces hot water.
ThermoSmart does not have this function. In the summer, your central heating boiler will not turn on if the room temperature is higher than the programmed temperature. So you do not need to turn the central heating boiler off.
If the room temperature drops in the morning or evening, or for example when airing the living room, the boiler will turn on. If you want to make sure the boiler doesn’t turn on in the summer, then you can decrease the temperature setting in the schedule blocks. You can do this under the tab “Standard week”. This sets the program and you can simply undo the change in winter.
